Local fixer and crew support across France
Some productions need one local fixer. Others arrive with part of the team and ask us to fill particular roles, or want us to put together the complete crew in France. We can work either way.
We can book producers, DoPs, camera operators, ACs, sound, lighting, grip, DIT, drone operators, drivers and assistants, then coordinate equipment, locations, permits, transport and accommodation around the shoot. How we work in France
We start with the brief, dates and people already confirmed. From there, we recommend the level of local support the job needs and book crew who fit the format and working style. The French Fixer is part of Swixer, giving visiting teams one local point of contact with wider production backing when required.
Paris is the main base for many shoots, but a Marseille, Lyon, Riviera, Atlantic or mountain schedule is planned differently. We check access, crew and travel before the route is locked, then stay with the production through the shoot. Read more about The French Fixer.
